Be a Kid Again and Burn Calories
Posted by: adminbmwl / Category: Uncategorized, exercise, fitnessAn important part of losing weight is to get out and move. While you can run or take aerobics, you can do many of the fun things you did as a kid and burn calories. Here are five fund things you can do to be like a kid again. Better yet, get your kids and family to join in for even more fun.
- Ride Bikes: Cycling for 30 minutes can burn up to 477 calories!
- Bowling: 60 minutes of bowling can burn 205 calories. Plus because of the weight of the ball and balance required, it also works your core (abs).
- Dancing: Put on your favorite tunes and boogie down to burn up to 478 calories and hour.
- Frisbee: Tossing the frisbee can burn 205 calories an hour.
- Roller skating: My first skates had metal wheels (golly I’m old). My next pair had blue wheels. Now I have inline skates and can burn over 400 calories an hour!
Of course the number of calories you burn will also depend on how hard you work at the activity. But if you don’t think about the work, and just focus on having fun, then you shouldn’t have any problem burning and playing!

Hi.
I did not know, that by throwing a frisbee can cause a person to burn off 205 calories. I use to love throwing them when I was younger. Now, that I am 46 years old and having physical problems, I don’t know if I can do it anymore. Thanks for the tips on how to burn the calories though. I need to burn them off and loose the weight that I have on me now. How many calories does walking burn off? Not many huh? What about regular exercising, how many calories would they burn off? Say doing jumping jacks, wind mills, sit ups, push ups, etc.? Please, do let me know. Also, what can help out the kidneys? I need some advice on dealing with kidneys. Please, do let me know. Thank you again, for the tips on burning the calories.
Sincerely,
Teresa.
